Adolescence

13-19 Years

Puberty and sexual maturity occur. Identity formation and increased independence. Emotional and social challenges common.

Early Adulthood

20-40 Years

Focus on personal and professional goals. May involve higher education, careers, relationships, marriage, and children. Physical peak usually occurs in this stage.

Middle Adulthood

40-65 Years

Signs of aging begin (e.g., wrinkles, gray hair). Career maturity, parenting older children, and planning for retirement. Reflection on life accomplishments.

Late Adulthood

65+ Years
